MetaBUILD Week 3: Grants and Funding
What happens after the hackathon?
One of the most important criteria for choosing a MetaBUILD winner is the team's plans for the future. Even when the code isn't as perfect and the demo isn't as confident as we would want them to be, the team's commitment to staying in the NEAR ecosystem long term matters a lot.
As hackathon hosts, nothing makes us happier than seeing the newly created projects grow and thrive. And this ecosystem has a lot of awesome opportunities to thrive after you've won a hackathon.
Our weekly mentoring session on Twitter Space will be dedicated to grants and funding – the support you'll be getting after succesfully launching your MVP at MetaBUILD.
Join us on 16:00 GMT+1 this Thursday, and you'll learn:
- What is the difference between a grant and an investment round
- What kind of projects can get a NEAR Foundation grant
- What is the amount the grant applicant can receive
- Best application practices and advice
This week you will meet the experts from NEAR Foundation's grants team along with the projects on our ecosystem with their own grant programs.
Join the conversation, share your ideas and ask a lot of questions! We're here to help you build the next big thing – and win.
Love,
NEAR
